ph_priv, Spinola Bay, St Julians, Malta

Åh, Malta, Malta, Malta. Hver dag er en ny forelskelse. I går fant jeg veien tilbake til Spinola Bay, hvor jeg hadde sett de fargerike båtene da jeg satt på bussen dagen før. Disse båtene har jeg hengt meg helt opp i helt siden jeg googlet Malta første gang, og jeg var ustoppelig da jeg endelig fant dem. Kameraet mitt hvilte ikke et sekund! Fargene, stemningen, det er egentlig umulig å fange – men jeg gjorde visst 800 forsøk allikevel. Er det ikke bare så VAKKERT?

I går ble jeg hos båtene hele dagen, lå og leste, betraktet lokale fiskemenn, hoppet i havet når det ble for varmt, spiste oliven fra tannpirker og drakk iskald Prosecco. I dag viet jeg til solen og boken min igjen, og i morgen skal jeg på båttur! Endelig får jeg sett Gozo og Camino, de to andre øyene, jeg også. Dere maser jo ikke om annet, hehe. Jeg gleder meg!

Oh, Malta, Malta, Malta. Every day there is a new infatuation. Yesterday I found my way back to Spinola Bay, where I had spotted the colorful boats while I sat on the bus the other day. I’ve been obsessed with these boats ever since I Googled Malta for the first time, and when I finally found them – I was unstopable. My Canon did’nt rest a second! The colours, the atmosphere, actually it’s impossible to catch – but I did 800 tries anyway. Isn’t it just beautiful?

Yesterday I stayed with the boats all day, reading, watching local fishermen, jumped into the ocean when the sun got too hot, ate olives from a tooth picker and drank icecold Prosecco. I gave today to the sun and my book again, and tomorrow I’m out for Boat Cruise! Finally I get to see Gozo and Camino, the two other islands you’re bragging about, hehe. Can’t wait!
